Slowly working on my to-do list

It is slowly dwindling… would be even faster if I quit seeing cute things online and deciding to make them! LOL!
This morning I found a blog (clicking from others that I read, really have no clue how I got there!)
Dolly Donations
So I called the girls over, and told them about it, and then we did 4 hours of ‘Family and Consumer Science’ studies today ;P
Here is what we ended up with:

Sierra and Ruby picked out the fabric and each stuffed an arm and a leg.  They helped me stuff the body, and then Sierra helped with the shoes and bows.  Karis and Sierra watched me paint the face, and of course, I did all the sewing!  They are so proud – and now each of them want to make their own dollies.  But this one is headed to Haiti!

*Update*
I just couldn't stop at one - they are too too adorable and I know they will be loved!

She is adorable - some lucky little girl will love her! What a sweet project to involve your own girls in.

Great that you can work these last minute projects into the curriculum - they'll learn more about "life" this way anyway. And she's gorgeous!

She is gorgeous and bound to be adored once she gets there. Are you putting a note in to tell them she's travelled from Alaska?
