seriously, I've been sewing a bunch lately, getting ready to open an etsy shop - so stay tuned.

Halloween and Christmas!

The owner of Back Porch Memories asked me to do a Halloween mini album kit for her store. I had a blast picking out all the goodies and playing for two whole days until I came up with this!  FYI – the kits are sold out, but you can enjoy the eye candy here.

Left page folds out, middle page is a 4x4 acrylic page and right page has a little bling spider on the web

Kraft envy on the left holds three tags to put pictures on.  Right page is WRMK black lace on an 8x4 acrylic page.

Silly Faces page, unties and folds out to show two picture spots.  Pumpkin is corrugated.

  

Tombstones are tags that come out of the grass to journal on.  Moon has 3 hidden journal or picture spots that rotate out.

The last page, with a hanging tag that says ‘EEK’

 

I had a blast making it and couldn’t wait to share.  I have some other projects too that I’m getting ready for Christmas – here’s a mitten and snowflake garland made from two Maya Road chipboard books. Pardon the horrible pictures – welcome to winter in Alaska and no good light!

I have been creating!!!

I just can’t post any of it because its either been for the store in town or its for Christmas gifts. But trust me, I’ve been scrapping and sewing up a storm!  Here is a LO I did for a scraplift challenge last month that I can post now  :D

My love for my husband

is combined with my love for purses and my love for my sewing!!!

So I figure while hubby is deployed I can at least wear a reminder of him on my arm every day!
