I am posting before and after pictures of my scrap area. I have resolved to keep my space clean and straighten up at the end of every day. So far so good! Now if I can just get Sierra to put all her Cuttlekids stuff away and pick up all the cuts of paper!
BEFORE
My desk and random catch all of empty boxes and other trash!
AFTER
I had to move everything into the master bedroom and Karis now has her own room! These Ikea shelves were given to us for free! Can't beat that! They now hold ribbon, buttons, brads, all my inks and paints, underneath has all my chipboard and some other random stuff stashed.

My shelf with stamps, file cabinet with non-scrappy stuf in there but my SG kits on top! And the large sterilite container is how I sort all my patterned paper. They are mostly in large ziplocks by brand and line with matching accessories in it.
My desk with my Clip it Up on it! I had to buy two extra packs of clips and I still don't have all my stuff up there! Behind it is a tool bit sorter I got in the hardware section. I keep eyelets and odds and ends in there.
Here is my desk with my sizzix and cuttlebug and Sierra's cuttlekids on it. I moved my cricut by the computer in the other room so I had room to leave my sewing machine out. I've actually used it quite a few times just in the last few weeks!

Holy cow! It looks like The Clean House crew came into your home! And you got those cabinets for free? You really lucked out. Great job, Aleta!
wow! I love you craft room! I could have a blast in there. Have fun in there!
Love the crafty room! You did a great job organizing. I am still working on that.. .it is such a time consuming project. I know you will enjoy working in the new space and I can't wait to see what you create!
WOW girl you worked hard!! I love it!!
oh i was getting hives looking at the before pics!! I love the end result, it looks great!!!
Now my OCD would make me seriously crazy and I would have to purge a lot but dang girl...you did a great job from where you were to where you are now! Congrats!
FYI~when you click on Charlyn and Jen to see their blog...it goes to a lady named Barb with pink skull and cross bones...just though you might want to know!
You're doing a great job organizing all your stuff!! I can't believe you got those IKEA shelves for free. WTG!!
I'm beginning to think this is something I should do, too, but I'm sure you had an "organized" mess, like I do, right? Excuses, excuses...
aleta -- I wanted to thank you previously for having stopped by my blog-- Yeah I passed a 1000 in spades :)
I must say you really got a handle on it and I'm impressed -- still a bit of disorganization is good for the soul -- you can't create unless you're frantically tossing things around... that's how the prcess works in my opinion
LOL
